What support is available?

Braille, large print & audio

We can provide your written communication in braille, large/giant print or audio.

If you tell us you’d like to receive your written communication from us in one of these formats, we’ll send your statements, credit card details and any responses to correspondence from you, automatically in this way. For any other written communication, you will need to get in touch each time to request a copy be sent in braille, large/giant print or audio.

Our credit cards are also designed to support you by:

  • Having two raised dots on the front of the card to let you know that it’s a credit card
  • The two raised dots are on the front of the card, letting you know which way is the right way up
  • Having a notch on the side of the card to let you know that the other end has the chip on it, so you know which way to enter the card into a card machine
  • Your card details are now printed on the back of the card meaning the numbers won’t rub off after taking it out of your purse or pocket a few times

Large card details

We can send you a copy of your card details in braille, large/giant print or audio. You will still keep the same card but we’ll also send you a large copy of your details which can be used when making purchases online. Get in touch to request your large card details.

M&S Banking App and Internet Banking

Did you know that digital banking can work in a way that suits you? Especially when you make the most of what your computer, mobile or tablet has to offer through its accessibility settings.

Here’s some of the things you can do online with us that you might find useful:

  • Spend notifications – keep on top of your spends by turning on spend notifications in our banking app, notifying you every time your M&S Credit Card is used to make a transaction
  • Statements & balances – access your statements and balances in a way that suits you via our banking app or Internet Banking
  • Secure access – use your fingerprint or face (compatible device required) to access your account via our banking app

M&S PASS and card reader options

By downloading our mobile banking app on your mobile or tablet, you’ll be able to use the accessibility settings on your device to support you in accessing the digital M&S PASS (so that you can access your Internet Banking) and use the app to approve any online payments you make (instead of using a card reader). If you’re unable to use our mobile banking app, take a look at the alternatives we have available to support you.
